“Very Nice Urban Campground
We were only there for 2 nights. It appears that there are several long term residents here. Everything in this park is top notch with the single exception that the trees desperately need trimming! It was very frustrating! We could not get into the first 2 sites we were assigned because the trees were so low that, at the very least would have scratched the sides of our new motorhome or, at the worst, damaged or torn our roof. We actually had this happen at a different campground and so now are hyper-vigilant before ever pulling into a site, though we would definitely stay here again. The lakeside/pond sites are beautiful with a lovely walking trail and benches around the perimeter, the bathrooms are large and immaculate, they have a nice pool and hot tub - we did not use. The clubhouse is large, clean and has a really nice outside patio with a gas firepit and lots of places to sit, rock or swing. Our dogs enjoyed the large dog park! The park is conveniently located, especially if you are visiting the medical center or downtown Houston. We would highly recommend! We camped at Lakeview RV Resort in a Motorhome. I would give 5 stars if the trees were kept trimmed high enough and out of the way of the sites. Many rigs had trees touching either roofs, sides, or both.

My Wife and I were very pleased with this RV Resort. Having the trees and water nearby was great. Amenities were great! We had to leave on a short notice for medical reasons, leaving our RV behind for a couple of weeks. We felt very comfortable about the fact that it would be secure and safe. When we returned to pick up the RV - everything was just the way we left it. We were very happy with that and would recommend this RV Resort to anyone! Jeff & Karen

Lakeview RV Resort is a well-maintained property with clean, level concrete pads that make setup a breeze. I stayed in spot 108, which was a pleasant and relatively quiet location, offering a bit of separation from the nearby highway noise—a welcome touch for a more restful experience.

The front desk staff were truly outstanding. When I needed urgent repairs on my rig, they provided an excellent recommendation right away, which helped turn a stressful situation into a manageable one. Their professionalism and willingness to assist really stood out.

The resort’s location offers convenient access to all that Houston has to offer, though be prepared for the usual challenge of navigating the city's complex and often congested roadways.

Like many RV parks, there were some issues with unattended dogs in nearby units barking throughout the day. While this was a bit disruptive at times, the management did make an effort to address the situation once it was reported.

Overall, Lakeview RV Resort is a solid choice for anyone looking for a clean, well-kept place to stay near Houston, with top-notch service and easy access to the city. With just a bit more attention to pet-related disturbances, it would be near perfect.

Traveling full time for the last three years, staying at over 100 campgrounds a year, we've seen a lot!! Lakeview is definitely a 5 star RV resort from the staff to the property and everything in between! Everything is kept sparkling clean and well cared for and for being so large, it's a very quiet park! It's primarily folks that are staying awhile, not passer throughs or weekend campers, but the sites are kept relatively clean and organized so it's not rundown. The staff is so kind and welcoming, it felt like home after only a week so I can see why people stay! Shuffleboard in the clubhouse was the icing on the cake, we'll definitely be back!!

Lakeview RV Resort is very relaxing. Between the pool, fishing lakes, outdoor kitchens, fire pits and fitness facilities, you feel a bit like you're on a permanent vacation. We also enjoyed the Foreign Policy food truck that was visiting.

Best place to stay when having my treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The staff are the best! They go over and beyond and it makes my frequent stays there so pleasant. The resort is relaxing and clean and quiet and wonderful amenities like coffee, newspaper every morning, popcorn. The clubhouse is relaxing. Such a parklike setting too.

My wife and I have stayed at Lakeside RV Resort several times this spring while visiting Houston to watch our son play baseball at Houston Christian University, and we couldn’t be more impressed. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short drive to campus and close to everything we need. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the restrooms are consistently spotless, which is a big plus. The resort itself has amenities galore, making each stay feel like a mini vacation. Whether it’s for a quick weekend or an extended stay, Lakeside RV Resort has become our go-to spot in Houston. Highly recommend!
