Meet Lori and Mark: Your Dedicated Managers at Bayou RV Resort

Our Journey to Bayou
Mark and I bring a wealth of diverse experiences to our roles as property managers at Bayou RV Resort. I spent ten years as an office manager at the Houston Chronicle and fourteen years at Kimco Services, excelling in customer service, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and planning work trips for crews. Mark’s career spans 20 plus years in Industrial Management in the Chemical Industry with a focus on managing relationships with vendors and clients on the Electrical side of the industry. Our combined expertise and dedication to customer service make us a dynamic team.
Experience and Expertise
My outgoing personality and love for meeting new people help me quickly build rapport with guests, ensuring they feel safe and secure at the resort. I enjoy working with my Bayou work family and take pride in organizing community events, such as cook-offs, to foster a sense of community among residents. Mark, with his extensive knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, is hard-working and always ready to assist guests with any issues. He finds fulfillment in working close to home and building strong relationships with guests and vendors.

We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment at Bayou RV Resort. We approach new residents with a friendly attitude and are always ready to help with any concerns. My initiative to organize community gatherings has been well-received, with guests enjoying the opportunity to meet their neighbors. Our efforts have significantly improved the guest experience, as evidenced by the positive feedback we receive.

I am passionate about continuously improving the property’s appearance and amenities, while Mark’s hands-on approach ensures that maintenance issues are resolved swiftly. Together, we envision a future where Bayou RV Resort continues to grow as a thriving community with increased occupancy and satisfied residents.
A Little About Us
Outside of work, I enjoy bowling, playing horseshoes, cornhole, attending Astros games, and watching football. Mark loves woodworking, creating in-lay rings and pens, and participating in local community activities. We both support local businesses and enjoy attending monthly markets in nearby small towns.
