I chose this highly rated RV resort in an attempt to ensure a nice and easy 1 night stay on our way through Houston. If this was a Mom+Pop establishment I'd have a lot more grace, but since this is a corporate location, I expect a lot better.

I spoke with a very kind woman in the phone who got me all set up for a pull-thru spot, and told me she would text me a gate code and leave a map in the box for me. I never received a text, so I called the office at 6:15p, right before they closed, and was told they were gonna send a text soon. I never received a text, had to wait by the front gate for someone else to enter, and there was not a map or pamphlet waiting for me in the "After Hours Check-in" Box near the office door. Luckily I was able to find my site number via Campspot and find my spot on my own. We were placed between what appeared to be two long-time residents of the park, both of whom were totally fine neighbors, but I typically prefer parks where the short timers and long timers have their own areas, just for a little peace of mind.

Anyways, I'm just disappointed that with $65/night and significant proactive communication I was still left scrambling in the dark trying to figure out how to get into the park & which spot I was supposed to be in.

We are full-time RV travellers and tourists. Nice quiet RV park, didn't hear any loud music, no fireworks, and no one getting rowdy. There was an 8ft chain link fence around RV Park. Nice wide lanes to get your RV settled. Well maintained, clean, and residents kept their stuff organized and next to their RV's. Good sized fishing lake. Harris County Sherrifs Deputy as well as Chamers County Deputies visiting park on patrols. No trees rubbing on my large RV a plus. Bathrooms, laundry, hot tub, and swimming pool all a plus. It was a nice, quiet, clean place for us to visit the attractions in Houston. We enjoyed the hassle free environment. Large HEB about 2 miles from RV park, other shopping, eating and convince stores close as well.

This campground provided a convenient 2-night stopover to break up our drive.
Site 154, pull-through FHU, full concrete pad long enough for coach and toad and then some (13' x 65'), -0.6° +0.4° able to auto level with no issues, patio, picnic table. Didn't need to unhook the toad. 50/30/20 pedestal tall enough for Watchdog to clear ground, water with reasonable pressure, 4" threaded sewer. Angled parallel, wide enough for slides on both sides - 35' total width. Tree at front of site blocked full extension of awning. No road noise.

Big rig friendly, easy off/on from I-10

Free air fill station for filling tires, free dog wash station, propane fill station.

8 front loader washers at $3.50 / load and 2 large capacity front loader washers at $4.50 / load. 10 dryers (couldn't tell how much they cost). Washers use laundry cards you must purchase for a $2 processing fee. Signage was confusing about whether debit / credit cards could also be used.

Check-in was not intuitive. There is a gate at the entrance of the campground that was closed. We just got lucky that someone went through which opened the gate. Once through the gate, there is no clearly designated area to park to go check in, and the campground is both on the left and right, so we just stopped in the middle. They had our packet prepared. No offer to escort us, but the route was clearly marked on the included map.

We would stay here again if in the area.

Been staying here for a few months, it’s great. Quiet community, small get togethers for holidays and events. Everyone is friendly, and the resort is clean. Would recommend for long term or just a short visit. The staff is great, always helpful and friendly. Vicki, Taytum, Kaleigh, Paola, and Maria thank you guys for everything y'all do for use here at the resort!

I've been living at mont belvieu rv resort for the past 3 years. Paola has been a God send! She has made this park feel very welcome and open to new arrivals and me as a long term resident. I hate to see her go but I do know she is leaving the resort in good hands. Kaleigh and her husband have been more than just friends to me since they have moved in and have welcomed me with open arms. Kaleigh has done great hosting her 1st resort event for the super bowl. It went over with a bang! From what I have seen Kaleigh not only does a great job in the office and has a great communication skills and a heart that has a desire to please. I think the choices made in management will go over quite well even though we will miss Paola dearly. I believe the future of this campground is in good hands and will be more than what people expect. I myself stop in every morning coffee and am always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. It is nice to feel a part of the community.
